Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold both on the team floor and the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded with the balance bar. In 2012 she was one of the few American athlete to achieve the most number of medals in the Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning a gold at the team event, earning her as well as Gabby the honor of being the only Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. The silver medals she won came from the individual floor and all-around events. The three years that passed between the Olympic Games she won, she took a break. She also was one of the gold medal winning American squads at two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began at the age of 2 and enjoys floor exercise. Aly contributes to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She would like to become a fashion designer and expand the line of leotards and socks in the coming years. Fierce A novel, which she's writing, will be out this year.
